MEVC Partners with AP Fleet in Major Strategic Move for Australian EV Charging

Mobile EV Charging (MEVC) has announced a new strategic partnership with AP Fleet, an Ultra Tune company, positioning MEVC as the preferred partner and priority service provider for EV charging response across AP Fleet's network.

The partnership brings together MEVC's position as the first-to-market, largest national mobile EV charging network in Australia with AP Fleet's established infrastructure and fleet and OEM support capabilities — creating a combination the companies say sets a new benchmark for mobile EV charging in the commercial and fleet sector.

"Combining MEVC's first-to-Australian-market, largest national mobile EV charging network with AP Fleet's infrastructure and fleet/OEM support capabilities gives us a huge differentiation factor in the mobile EV charging space — ultimately delivering a better experience for customers and end users," MEVC said in announcing the partnership.

Australia's EV Future Depends on More Than Charging Stations

Australia's electric vehicle transition is often measured by one key question: how many charging stations are being built?
While charging infrastructure is a critical part of the transition, industry leaders say the future of electric transport will depend on a much broader ecosystem that supports drivers in every situation, from home charging and workplace infrastructure to roadside assistance and fleet management.
As EV adoption accelerates across Australia, the next challenge is ensuring the systems surrounding these vehicles are ready.

Why Every Australian Fleet Manager Needs an EV Charging Contingency Plan

Australia's commercial vehicle landscape is undergoing a major transformation. Businesses across transport, logistics, construction, government and service industries are increasingly replacing petrol and diesel vehicles with electric alternatives.
While EV fleets offer significant benefits, including lower operating costs, reduced fuel expenses and improved sustainability outcomes, many organisations are discovering that successful electrification requires more than simply purchasing electric vehicles.
A reliable charging strategy, including a contingency plan for unexpected situations, is becoming essential for fleet managers.
